Technology: Do not go into the Light

Over the past couple of days, I have been trying to find new and interesting to put on this site. Technology is a great thing, but is it really a good substitute for live human interaction and don't mean adult cam chat. Some folks do great with online personals, instant messaging, and MySpace.

There are some pretty cool interactive sites out there such as: Second Life and There. They are great virtual worlds in which you can explore, play games, meet people, and even make money. It's like the Sims except for you can actually chat with people in real time and you don't have to go to the bathroom. And that is where the trap exists, you are tempted practice in this arena. For the most part, there are some really cool things to do and nice people to meet, but then there's just people running amuck looking for cybersex which is fine except for if gonna spend a couple of hours chatting with people why not just go to a bar.

At least in a bar, you can see people real reactions to what you are saying, you can adjust what you are doing, you are getting real feedback, and you will actually meet real live people.

Anyway, these virtual worlds are fun, but not a place to practice or run game. I sure someone will come up with an e-book on how to pua in virtual worlds, but nothing substitutes real face-to-face interactions, even if you get blown out.

I totally agree with avoiding the whole online thing for sarging. Sure people do hook up online but for me it seems like you have to invest way too much time.

For instance, I tried picking up girls on Craigslist last month and only ended up getting a flaky #close. Only one number close after weeks of emailing back and forth to several women!

It seems to be a more efficient use of time to sarge in real life where it is possible to get a #close in minutes rather then weeks. Of course that's just my opinion.

Keep up the good posts, I enjoy reading your blog.
