Why Seduction, Social Arts, or PUA?

I have be asked a couple of times why I got involved in this community. My basic answer is that I did not ever want to be in these situations again where I was too afraid to speak to a woman and go on countless dates that ended no where (meaning not in a relationship). The growth of this community into the mainstream, I think for the most part have helped many people despite the ridiculous exploitation by television shows (except for The Pick-Up Artist). It's saddens me to read articles like this one where someone takes the lives of others and as well as their own.
